This ain’t goodbye….it’s “see ya in my garage”

To all of the incredible Columbus Furniture Revival patrons-

I first off want to thank you all for following Columbus Furniture Revival since the beginning. I have loved collaborating with and hearing from all of you. It is time for Columbus Furniture Revival to make some changes. I opened this retail space thinking that it would be an incredible experience, which it has been. Unfortunately, it did not go in the direction I was hoping for. This has lead me to the decision that Columbus Furniture Revival will no longer have a storefront and will focus on our CUSTOM refinishing. Our doors will be closing at the end of June….and the good news is that we will be liquidating the store! EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE WILL BE ON MEGA SALE!!!! This will start tomorrow (Friday the 30th) afternoon and go until everything is SOLD (or June 30th, whichever comes first). I will also be bringing pieces that may need a little work that will be super awesome deals.
 
I am very excited for the future ventures that I will be embarking on, along with continuing Columbus Furniture Revival Custom. If you have a piece of furniture that you want refinished, I am still your gal. This ain’t goodbye, it’s “see ya in my garage!” I am looking forward to working with you all in the future on some loved furniture pieces.

Good Day, Sunshine

Thank goodness!!! Spring has sprung and I couldn’t be more grateful!!!! We are making some room for some new items, but thought I would share these lil beauties with you to hold you over!!! We also want to welcome our newest vendor CP Cement and her practical and pretty concrete coasters, spoon and ring holders. GET THEM NOW.

Playing Catch Up

Its almost here!!! Those days when it stays light longer, less clothes are worn, you don’t slip on your butt walking to your car, and COLOR!!! As life thaws out, more and more spring colors are popping up everywhere. Most of you who know me, are fully aware with my obsession with chartreuse. I know you can imagine how excited I was to get that tub of color and get to work.

This is what came of my spring preparation. This incredible stools that I so badly want to take home, but of course I have no room. So they are here in the shop waiting for a good home to love them like I do.

I also recently added a gorgeous antique drop top desk. She’s a beaut, ain’t she?

Get Holiday Ready

I am really enjoying this lovely snow day in Columbus. I am just waiting for a little bit of snow to fall! Luckily, the store is nice and warm and has an excellent view so that I can watch while the flakes fall. 

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and Hanukkah! Now it’s time to prep for Christmas and New Years. If youre entertaining, you MUST get here quickly. We have this insane mid century modern dining table with built in leaves. This table could EASILY fit 10 people….I hate to repeat myself, but thats just INSANE! Not only that but we have some serious statement chairs to match. Holy guacamole I might have peed myself, I love these chairs so much.

New Furniture to “Fall” For

It jumped awfully quick from summer to almost winter weather!!. Leaving this morning with sleet falling from the sky was a wake up call! I have to get started on the preparations to ready myself to work in the garage in chilly weather conditions  (taking out my ski socks, my work jacket, hats and scarves). In the meantime, we got some new arrivals that can help ease us into the cooler weather transitions.

I am baaaack!!! I had the most insanely amazing 2 weeks in Spain and Portugal. I got lots of inspiration from the colors, scenery and culture there. We travelled to 4 cities in 15 days and it was the trip of a lifetime. Here are a few pictures from the trip

Wednesday-Friday 11-2:30 and 4:30-7

Custom Catch Up

Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I went to Philadelphia and had a great time, but now back to reality (for a few weeks before we go on the adventure of our lives—SPAIN and PORTUGAL). Don’t fret- we will be open while away!!!

I know that I have been posting lots about what’s in the store, but what I haven’t been posting is all of the great custom work we have been doing! These are all pieces that were previously owned by our customers that wanted a new/refreshed look.
