Color Me Pleather

Standard

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! We got lots done around the house and are putting the finishing touches on it before it goes on the market! Very exciting. All this followed by a rousing fantasy football draft! I have been looking forward to getting my hands on some furniture all weekend and so I welcomed Tuesday with open arms.

Last week I finished a piece for Nieman Bates that was a joy for me to do. We decided it was a chest where people can do puzzles and leave them and they will get uninterrupted. I am sure you could use it for games along with many other things, but for my sake, I thought about puzzles. So how could we make this more puzzle friendly? One word…PLEATHER!

I started by sanding the chest and painting it …

Then I added the pleather…

Added some finishing touches such as a new hinge and voila!

This piece is available at Nieman Bates in Upper Arlington! It is a fabulous store I recommend you all check out.

I am also posting a picture of an amazing antique porcelain top kitchen table. I have had this one for a bit but I just wanted to let you all know that it still needs a home! If you or anyone you know is interested please contact me!
