In the meantime, heres a quick look at what we are working on! The top two are from Nieman Bates, a wonderful consignment store that you all should definitely check out! The bottom one is from an awesome client of ours!
Now, I want to make it clear…I did NOT find this dresser in an actual dumpster. My neighbor had told me that they were getting rid of their dresser and so I took it off their hands. All I had to do was get it to my shop! It was a heavy sucker but we got it there! When we got it it had a bunch of stains on it but it had beautiful wood and a great shape along with some awesome original hardware!
Of course I forgot to take a picture of it when I got it but here it is once it had a good sanding…
Being primed…
I wanted to go with a color I hadn’t used much of…gray. There are so many different shades of gray and I had to find the perfect one.
This is the one I ended up with
I love the distressed look and it was only fitting to give the dresser this look! Here it is at the summer flea!!! I just love how it turned out
